Using the Archive feature present in the outlook.

  • Under the archive option select “ archive this folder and all subfolders and then click on the Ok button.

Export OST to Office 365 by using the Export feature of MS Outlook

  • Open Outlook application and select Open & Export option under File option.

  • Click on the Import/Export option under the Open & Export option.
  • A new screen pops out select Export to a file under it.
  • Under Export to a file option select the second option as Outlook Data File(.pst) as your option and click on the Next option.
  • Select all the folders that you want to put in the PST file and click Next.

●     Select the location where you want to save your new PST file and select desired checks from the below-mentioned options and click Finish.

Converting PST to Office 365

Once the PST file is made using the above-mentioned methods. Now we can convert PST to Office 365 using these methods.

  1. Uploading PST to Office 365 using Azure Azcopy.

●     Install Azure Azcopy into your system and copy the SAS URL.

●     SAS URL will allow PST files to Azure.

●     Upload PST to Office 365.

●     Create a CSV file for PST mapping.

●     To import a PST file, create an import job in Office 365.

●     Filter your data and start the PST importing.

You need to take care of some points before the uploading process.

★    Make sure that you have the administrator rights of Office 365.

★    The network share folder should have the PST file otherwise the tool won’t be able to perform the task.

★    PST file should be less than 20 GB.
